The Hands-On Healthcare Mentorship Program connects underrepresented high school students with college mentors who are passionate about medicine and healthcare. Our goal is to break down barriers in access, exposure, and guidance by creating meaningful relationships that help students see themselves in future healthcare careers.

Through one-on-one and group mentorship, students gain:

• Guidance on academic and career pathways in medicine and related fields

• Hands-on experiences such as anatomy demonstrations, suturing workshops, and laboratory visits

• Personalized support and encouragement from mentors who understand the challenges of navigating pre-health pathways

• Confidence and belonging in professional and academic spaces where diversity and representation matter
